Sports Specialty Camps

Camp meets Uptown
Two-week long sports specialty camps for 2010 includes a new Bowling camp in addition to last year’s
successful Golf and Tennis camps. Professionals will instruct your camper based on his or her ability level, ensuring that each athlete progresses at his or her own pace. Don’t miss out, spaces fill quickly!
Sports specialty camps include a full day of programming. Afternoons will be spent at the JCC eating lunch, swimming, and participating in various athletic activities. All skill levels are welcome to participate.
Golf Camp
golf camp campers will spend the first half of each day at Lakewood Country Club. A certified U.S. PGA Professional will provide top-notch instruction in the fundamentals of golf focusing on swing technique, driving, chipping, putting, pitching and more. A low camper-to-counselor ratio helps your child advance in skill level.

Tennis Camp
Tennis Camp campers will receive valuable instruction as they develop their forehand, backhand, serve, volley and net play within small group lessons at the Audubon Tennis Courts. Campers will be evaluated and grouped according to skill level.

Golf / Tennis Combo Camp
Golf/tennis combo camp campers will play golf at Lakewood Country Club in the first week and gain valuable instruction at the Audubon Tennis Courts in the second week.

Bowling Camp
Bowling campers will beat the July heat as they learn more about bowling. Instructors will focus on technique, strategy, rules, scoring, safety and equipment at a local bowling alley.

Early Morning Care & Second Home/Kids Konnection
Campers wake up and wind down with age-appropriate books, toys, arts and crafts, and indoor and outdoor play. An afternoon snack is provided.Monday – Friday | Ages: 3 and up

The JCC Policy is to not take responsibility for your child before 7:30 AM or after 5:30 PM on Monday – Friday. If your child stays late, there is a $1.00 per minute late fee payable directly to the staff member who must stay with your child. This applies to Second Home, Kids Konnection, and the game room. Please arrive on time!
Game room campers ages 8 and older may use the adult-supervised game room free of charge during aftercare hours. However, we ask that you please indicate this on your registration form to avoid confusion. Campers in the game room are given the option to “check out” and use the swimming pool facilities. Please indicate permission on the registration form for your camper to gain access to this area.
