YEARBOOKS OF THE PAST: A LESSON IN HISTORY
Brett Ruth - yes, my husband - will explain the lessons we can learn from studying yearbooks of the past. With a collection of over 6,000 pre-WWII college yearbooks, Brett has become an expert at recognizing anomalies in our country's history as well as the start of trends that have influenced the development of modern culture in areas from art to women's lib. Brett will bring in many beautiful examples from his yearbook collection which dates back to the mid-nineteenth century. Who knows, perhaps you will find an old relative in one of his books.

In honor of Shavuot, we will enjoy a delicious dairy feast prior to this afternoon of learning. RSVP by Monday, May 29, to Rachel Ruth at 897-0143 x 161 or rachel@nojcc.org.
