Plan your party at the JCC

Celebrate your child’s birthday with a supervised gathering at the JCC. The JCC sets the tables, hangs the balloons and cleans up after these 90-minute affairs, which are designed for children age three and up. Parties vary in price and can also include karaoke, gymnastics, sports, arts-and-crafts, swimming and many other kid-friendly activities. Please note, only pool parties are available May - September.  Click HERE for more information about pool parties.

Basic packages are $215 and include:

  • 90 minute party with JCC Staff
  • 25 guests ($5/additional child up to 35)
  • Ice and paper goods
  • Set-up and clean up
  • Decorations: helium balloons and tablecloths

Parties are scheduled Sunday through Thursday during regular JCC hours. Birthday parties are a benefit for JCC members only. Birthday child must be at least 3 years of age.

Alon Shaya Lead 2018 Kindness March

New Orleans JCC campers kicked off summer 2018 by spreading kindness at the second annual Kindness March, held June 7 at the Uptown JCC. Famed chef Alon Shaya and his wife Emily, along with the New Creations Brass Band, led the march around the JCC’s historic building on St. Charles Avenue.

JCC Dedicates New Expansion

It was "A Sweet Celebration in Song" on May 24 as the JCC dedicated its new $9 million dollar expansion.  Featuring a performance by Azi Schwartz, the internationally recognized cantor from the Park Avenue Synagogue in New York City, the event brought the community together to celebrate the new addition to the Uptown JCC and recognized and honored the lead donors who made the expansion possible.
