Membership Benefits

Membership Change Request

Any change to an account must be requested by the main member.

Update billing information

Adding a child member

If you already have a family membership and wish to add a child member, please provide the following information (written or email) to the membership department at your main facility:

  • Full Name
  • Date of Birth
  • Phone
  • Email
  • Emergency Contact Name
  • Emergency Contact Phone
  • Relationship to Main Member
  • School
  • Jewish/Non-Jewish
Category Change

A confirmation of payment information as well as written approval to charge the card on file is required to process any category changes. Complete a category change form at the JCC or email your request to the membership department at your main facility. If requesting via email, please provide your current category and your desired category. Please indicate the name of any members you wish to remove from your account and provide the following information for sub-members you wish to add:

  • Full Name
  • Date of Birth
  • Phone
  • Email
  • Emergency Contact Name
  • Emergency Contact Phone
  • Relationship to Main Member
  • School or Occupation
  • Jewish/Non-Jewish
Membership Freeze

We offer the option to freeze your membership for up to 3 months once per year for personal reasons, or more than 3 months for medical reasons with a physician's note. You must provide notice (written or email) by the 10th of the month you wish to freeze. During the freeze period, you will be assessed a $10 freeze fee for each month your membership is frozen. At the conclusion of the freeze period, your membership will automatically renew and you will be drafted your full membership fee. When requesting a freeze, please indicate how many months you wish to freeze your membership

Cancellation of Membership

Membership is a minimum of one month plus 30 days to cancel. To cancel a membership, provide 30 days notice (written or email) prior to the 15th of the month you wish to cancel. For example, if you want to cancel as of June 15, written cancellation must be received by May 15. If you wish to rejoin in the future, you will be required to pay a $75 rejoin fee.

The JCC is delighted to welcome guests of current members. Guests must be accompanied by a member and present appropriate identification. All guests and visitors must sign in.Please note that it takes a few moments to register a guest in our system and complete the appropriate forms. We recommend that you allow ample time before a class or service to accommodate this process. Guest privileges will be extended to the same guest only 3 times a year.Guests must present appropriate identification
  • unless they are under the age of 16 (pool and basketball guests) 
  • the name on the identification must match the name written on the guest slip 
Guest Fees
Uptown
  • Ages 17 - Adult: $15 | Includes use of fitness center, basketball gymnasium, and group exercise classes
  • Ages 5 - 16 : $12 | Includes use of pool and basketball gymnasium
  • Ages 4 and under: Free | Includes use of pool and basketball gymnasium
  • Out-of-town Individual - $35 per guest for a week
  • Out-of-town Family - $50 per family for a week
  • Summer Babysitter Pass - $50 (allows a non-member to bring member children under 11 to the pool)
 
Metairie
  • Ages 17 - Adult: $10 | Includes use of fitness center, basketball gymnasium, and group exercise classes
  • Ages 5 - 16 : $10 | Includes use of pool and basketball gymnasium
  • Ages 4 and under: Free | Includes use of pool and basketball gymnasium
  • Out-of-town individual - $35 per guest for a week
  • Out-of-town family - $50 per family for a week
  • Summer Babysitter Pass - $50 (allows a non-member to bring member children under 11 to the pool)
Members are allowed to bring:
  • Two guests per visit for the fitness center
  • Up to four guests for the pool and basketball gymnasium
