Building Alerts

Dear JCC Members,
This weekend, in response to Louisiana's continued increase in COVID-19 cases, the Governor's office issued additional phase 2 mitigation measures and guidelines that require face coverings for all individuals, even when exercising.
Effective July 13, 2020, updates to the state's Phase 2 Fitness Centers and Health Club Guidelines issued in conjunction with Proclamation Number 89 JBE 2020 mandate:
"All customers as well as business owners and employees, non-essential and essential, are to wear face coverings inside a commercial establishment or any other building or space open to the public, whether indoor or outdoor, as well as when utilizing public or commercial modes of transportation. This includes when individuals are engaged in exercise indoors or when a physical activity outdoors involves being within six feet of others."
Therefore, until further notice, masks are required at all times inside the JCC, including during exercise. The health and safety of our members and staff are of utmost importance. We take these measures seriously and appreciate your support and cooperation as we work together to slow the spread of COVID-19.
Again, thank you for your understanding and flexibility as we adapt to this ever changing situation.
