Babysitting

We'll help you get your workout in!  The JCC offers child care services by experienced babysitters for Silver and Gold members at both our Uptown and Metairie locations.  

Uptown

Ages
6 months – 6 years

Hours
Monday – Thursday, 8:00 AM – 1:00  PM and 4:30 PM – 7:30 PM
Friday, 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Saturday, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Sunday, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Pricing
$4 per hour or $30 for 10 hours.
Maximum of two* hours per visit 
*Children under the age of 12 months have a limit of one hour per visit

Procedures

Reserve a spot by calling the fitness desk at 504.897.0143. Please reserve at least 24 hours in advance.  Reservations are accepted up to one week in advance.

Parent will be required to check-in at the fitness desk for receipt/confirmation.

For safety reasons, only one non-walker can be accommodated in the babysitting room at one time.

24-hour reservations have a priority to admittance. Drop-ins will only be allowed if space is available. No exceptions.

Parents must remain in the building while the child is in babysitting.

Metairie Kids Konnection

Monday – Thursday, 8:00 AM – 12:00  PM and 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM
Friday, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Sunday, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Pricing
$4 per hour or $30 for 10 hours.

Dance for Parkinsonís Celebrates One Year

October marks the one year anniversary for the Oscar J. Tolmas Charitable Trust Dance for Parkinson’s Program at the New Orleans JCC. This award-winning program takes place every Wednesday with instruction from the New Orleans Ballet Association.
