SELA AQUATICS at the Metairie JCC

Swim Lessons are available May - July

The Metairie campus has partnered with SELA AQUATICS to manage our pool during the summer. SELA AQUATICS is a regional company that provides American Red Cross Safety certifications such as CPR and Life-guarding, and a comprehensive pool management service for pools in New Orleans and Baton Rouge. Their staff of experienced professionals set the standard for aquatics safety and training in Louisiana. As part of the pool management service, SELA AQUATICS will certify and provide on-going skills training for our lifeguards and swim instructors, as well as manage the employment of our guards, swim team coaches, and swim instructors at the JCC in Metairie.

Group Classes

My Baby and Me Swim Class 

Ages: 3 and under with adult
Four 30-minute classes | $70 

Parents and children learn together to increase a child’s comfort level in the water and build a foundation of basic skills, such as arm and leg movements and breath control. This course is fun-filled and helps introduce water safety concepts, encouraging a healthy recreational habit that your entire family can enjoy.Semi-Private
