Dog Yoga
We're doing it again! Join the JCC and Zeus' Rescues for a community-wide event. Yoga instructor Jessy Fedie-Garcia and local pet shelter, Zeus' Rescue are partnering to offer our community a Vinyasa Flow Yoga class while Zeus' ADOPTABLE dogs roam freely! "Doga" as some know it, will be a unique opportunity for participants and dogs alike to share in the relaxing, but possibly slobbery practice! Please join us at 11:30 am under the Bart Family Pavilion for a wet-kissed flow followed by some meet and greets and light refreshments. Free for everyone. Registration is required. 24 people max per block.
Two different options, members pick one block to do. 20 minutes of cycling, 20 minutes of HIIT, and 20 minutes of Mat Pilates per block. The three Instructors for the Earner are Winnie Rubin, Josh Murray, and Brittany Polaski.

Dance for Parkinsonís Celebrates One Year

October marks the one year anniversary for the Oscar J. Tolmas Charitable Trust Dance for Parkinson’s Program at the New Orleans JCC. This award-winning program takes place every Wednesday with instruction from the New Orleans Ballet Association.
