Shalom NOLA Merchandise Expands

$5 from each item benefits the New Orleans JCC

Published Monday, May 13, 2019

In December 2018, the New Orleans JCC partnered with Bayou Brands, an extension of Dirty Coast, on a t-shirt design for membership appreciation week. The shirts featured a custom "Shalom NOLA" design on the front and featured the JCC logo on the back. In Hebrew, shalom means "peace." The design, "Shalom NOLA," represents the JCC's wish for peace in the New Orleans community and the world around us.

The Shalom NOLA shirts were so popular that our inventory was depleted in a short number of hours. After many requests for more, we worked with Bayou Brands to make the shirts available for purchase online. The best part? You can feel good about your purchase because $5 from each item goes directly to the JCC.

The JCC has already benefited from Shalom NOLA t-shirt orders since launching online, and we are excited to expand the design to other items. The Shalom NOLA design is now available on an adult hoodie and an infant onesie. Interested in seeing the design on something else? Email julie@nojcc.org with your ideas. Want to order yours?
