Summer is here and we’re excited to make a splash!

The Metairie J has some exciting updates for the 2019 pool season. Children age 4 and under will love spending this summer in our new splash pad. Kids can enjoy sliding down Carl the Clownfish and walking through special aquatics fountains.  Completed in early May, the splash pad and surrounding fence were added to provide enhance the water experience for our youngest members and their chaperones.

Does the deck feel different under your feet?  When you look down, you will notice a completely new pool deck. About the recent updates, Metairie Director Wendy Goldberg said:  “The JCC has always been known for our aquatics programs. We love seeing families spend the summer with us and enjoy the new additions.”

From private swim lessons to aquatic aerobics, there’s something for every age and skill level.  Remember, all JCC membership levels grant pool access.

Want to bring a guest?  Members may bring up to four guests at a time for an additional fee.

Our pool season is officially underway, we hope to see you there!

30-Minute Medicine Ball Circuit


By using a tool like a medicine ball, you can save time by completing a full-body circuit without having to hop from one machine to another.
