Join us for a meaningful and informative session led by Norman Miranda, Planning Advisor with Jacob Schoen & Sons Funeral Home, as part of our Community Education Series. This 30-minute presentation, followed by a Q&A will walk attendees through the importance of planning ahead for end-of-life arrangements. Topics will include common reasons people pre-plan, what families experience during "The Acute Loss Period," and how to complete a Memorial Guide with clarity and care. Each attendee will receive a complimentary Final Wishes Organizer, which includes helpful brochures, planning guides, and essential documents to get started.
This session is designed with adults and senior community members in mind. Whether you're looking to make your wishes known or want to ease the burden on your loved ones during a difficult time, this free, faith-inclusive, and universally relevant program will empower you with knowledge and tools. Special attention will be given to Jewish customs and rituals, ensuring that traditions are respected and properly incorporated into planning. Taking time to plan ahead is a gift to yourself and your family and one that brings peace of mind for the future.
