Small Group Training

SGT

Small Group Training classes are low-cost, high-efficiency sessions that provide the individual attention of a certified trainer and the fun environment and camaraderie of a class. 

SGT never has more than four to six participants, which allows trainers to focus their attention and personalize the workout. Between the six SGT classes offered each week, you have options to fit your schedule and your training style. Pick your favorite, or mix it up with different trainers to add variety to your workout routine! 

Small Group Training requires a reservation and can be booked through the New Orleans JCC app, online with our member services portal, or at the fitness desk. 

5 Packs of SGT sessions can be purchased at the fitness desk so that you can make reservations online or in-person.

Funxional Fitness - Funxional Fitness SGT focuses on exercises that support and mimic your everyday life or ADLs. These exercises include movements such as pushing, pulling, hinging, squatting, rotating, and carrying. These exercises improve quality of life across all age groups.

TRX Circuit SGT - TRX Circuit SGT makes gravity your resistance, so adjusting the level of difficulty is as easy as moving your hands or feet, and progression is limitless.This small group training class is for those who would like to: tone and lose weight; get stronger & improve performance, and decrease stress on joints during exercise.

Turbo TKO SGT - For those brand new to boxing/kickboxing.  You will learn boxing fundamentals such as stance, basic punches/combinations, basic footwork, and the beginnings of defense. You will get an excellent workout through drills and exercises developed to improve conditioning and muscular endurance. Beneficial not only to those looking to build a foundation for boxing and fight conditioning, but for those who wish to improve overall fitness and health

5-class package | $125 
Drop-in | $30 per class 

    • Small Group Training and Reformer Pilates packages are sold separately and are non-transferrable.
    • Packages are available to JCC members only. Drop-in classes are open to both members and non-members.
    • A 5-class package must be used within 90 days.
    • If your schedule changes, cancel 24 hours before your session to avoid being charged.
