Parenting Your Stay-At-Home Teen
Join us for the third talk in our Parenting in Place series, presented in partnership with The Parenting Center at Children's Hospital. These talks focus on the challenges and opportunities parents face while navigating the new realities of life during the stay-at-home order.
The Parenting Center Parent Educator Monet Somerville will lead a conversation about "Parenting Your Stay-At-Home Teen." With school wrapping up and the prospects for a long summer ahead, we turn our attention to the unique issues associated with parenting teenagers during these uncertain times. We'll discuss teens and their response to this crisis from a developmental perspective, then share ideas and strategies to help them build resilience and come out okay on the other end by focusing on parent/child relationships.
