This October 7, our goal is to complete 1,200 mitzvot in memory of the lives stolen on October 7, 2023.
Visitors of all ages can stop by the Uptown JCC throughout the day and participate in meaningful activities at community partner tables, including giving tzedakah, creating cards, packing food, and other acts of kindness. For our Metairie members, a mitzvah table will be located in the Member Lounge.
Together, let us carry forward the goodness that so many of these individuals brought into the world before their lives were stolen on October 7. Through acts of kindness and mitzvot, we honor their memory and continue their legacy of doing good.
