Sock Hops

Hang with your friends and enjoy the music you want to hear with a live DJ who takes song requests.  Enter the dance contest to compete for prizes, or grab something to eat from the snack bar.

Location: Uptown JCC - 5342 St. Charles Avenue
Time: 7:30 - 10:00 PM (Doors open at 7:00 PM)
Grades: 5, 6, and 7

Purchasing Tickets in Advance

Advanced sale tickets: $10 member/$14 non-member (Cash, Check, AMEX, Visa and MasterCard accepted)

Advanced tickets may be purchased at both the Uptown and Metairie campuses 10:00 AM - 30 minutes before closing every day. If purchasing the day of the event at the Uptown campus, please enter through the Leontine Street fitness entrance from 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM.

*In the event of a sold out dance, JCC members will not be turned away at the door. Non-members are encouraged to purchase tickets prior to the dance.

New Orleans JCC seniors enjoy local food from a cost-sharing collaboration with FEMA and the City of New Orleans. Fresh, nutritious meals are being prepared by more than 100 local restaurants through the Chef’s Brigade coalition along with Revolution Foods.
