Our monthly membership option, which drafts on the 15th, allows flexibility to change your category or freeze your membership. Category changes and freeze requests can be submitted anytime but must be received by the 10th of the month to be processed by the next billing cycle. If you need to cancel your membership, submit your request at least 30 days prior to our billing date.

We offer the option to freeze your membership for up to three (3) months once per year for personal reasons, or more than 3 months for medical reasons with a physician's note. Due to COVID-19, members will be allowed to request a membership freeze through December 15, 2021. You must submit your request to freeze by the 10th of the month you wish to freeze.
During the freeze period, you do not have access to the facility and will be assessed a $10 freeze fee for each month your membership is frozen. At the conclusion of the predefined freeze period, your membership will automatically renew and you will be drafted your full membership fee. Membership amenities and access to the facility are not permitted during a membership freeze.
If you wish to extend your freeze, follow the same process and provide the new date you wish to return. It might be helpful to create a calendar reminder prior to the date your membership is scheduled to be reactivated. You must request an extension of your freeze to avoid your regular membership draft. Refunds will not be given for non-use of the facility and/or negligence to request a change of membership status.
We understand that sometimes plans change. You can unfreeze a membership and resume access to the facility at any time. If you wish to unfreeze, please complete our online form. At the time of unfreezing, you will be charged prorated monthly dues minus the $10 freeze fee already paid.

Membership is a minimum of one month plus 30 days to cancel. To cancel a membership, provide 30 days notice by filling out our online form prior to the 15th of the month you wish to cancel. For example, if you want to cancel as of June 15, the form must be received by May 15. If you wish to rejoin in the future, you will be required to pay a $75 rejoin fee for Universal memberships or $50 for Metairie Gold.

Does your family have a new addition? Want to increase the number of adult members on an account? Interested in upgrading your category to Gold? You can change your category at any time. If you are upgrading, you will be billed for the upgraded rate, minus the membership dues already paid. If you are downgrading, your next membership draft will reflect the updated rate.
As a reminder, a maximum of two adults is allowed on an account. Children and sub-members must reside in the same household. Your request for a category change serves as authorization to charge you prorated dues and apply the new billing rate for the next draft cycle. Click here to see our 2020 rate card.
