Our memory programming offers a friendly, approachable environment to concentrate on yourself. Certain programs are facilitated by experts, including a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Where a caregiver is involved, we offer a brief respite for you and the opportunity to join a monthly support group. For more information or to register, contact Rachel Ruth.
JCC membership is not required to participate in Adult Memory Programs.
ACE: Alzheimer's Care & Enrichment Program
The Alzheimer’s Care & Enrichment Program offers respite for caregivers while their loved ones meet with qualified staff in a safe, familiar environment. For participants, ACE provides a sense of community, sustaining their connections with others, while engaging them in a host of activities, including exercise, art, music, meal preparation, and weekly visits with the JCC nursery schoolers. Caregivers can look to the JCC for expert answers and for referrals to community resources. We also invite caregivers to join monthly support groups. Download brochure. Lunch is Included.
Monday, Wednesday, Friday | 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Contact Rachel Ruth to sign up or to volunteer.
Memory Cafe
Welcome to our Memory Cafe! This is a social gathering for people living with changes in their memory or thinking, people living with dementia and the people who care about them - family, friends, or professional caregivers. The Memory Cafe is a place to have fun together, talk with others who understand what you’re going through, and try something new!
This program is not designed to offer drop-off respite care – but rather to support both the person living with changes in memory or thinking or with dementia, and the people who care about them. Spend an hour or two with people in a non-judgmental environment who understand what you and your family are going through.
Light snacks will be served. This program will be held on the first Tuesday of the month unless it conflicts with a holiday. See the dates below.

Stressed? If you're feeling it, chances are your child is feeling it too. You know the signs; when your mind starts racing and your heartbeat starts racing, your tendency is to get louder and faster. But what you and your body and your child need is for things to slow down and start making sense.
