Do I have to be a current JCC member to apply to camp?

Applications will be considered on a rolling basis. If we are able to offer you a spot for your camper and your membership is not current, you will be notified by email and have four business days to setup or reinstate your JCC membership.

When are all forms and final payments due for campers?

All forms and final payments are due on May 1, 2026.

Physician's Examination Form must be completed and signed by a physician and uploaded to CampInTouch. Our 2025-2026 New Orleans JCC Early Childhood Center students do not have to  submit an additional form. 

Will before care and after care be available for my child?

Before care will not be offered this summer, but after care will be available.

Reminder that there will be no aftercare on July 24, 2026.

I’ve submitted an application and need to request changes to my camper weeks. What is the process? 

To request adjustments to your camp enrollment, please email uptowncamp@nojcc.org or metairiecamp@nojcc.org. You can check the status of your camper’s weeks by logging into your CampInTouch account and clicking on the Camper Information tab.

Additional weeks may be added, if space is available.

• All changes in enrollment (cancellation or switching weeks) must be received in writing.
  
  
• An administrative charge of $50 per week is assessed for changes in camp enrollment made after April 24. Changes include canceling or switching weeks. Subsequent changes will also be charged $50.
  
  
• Adding a camp week is not considered a change and families are NOT assessed a change fee. 
  
  
• There will be no refund on cancellations received after May 1, 2026.
  
  
• Camp deposits are nonrefundable.  

What are the health guidelines?

Families should carefully screen their child before sending them to camp.  Please do not send your child to camp if they are not well. Do not send a child with a bad cold or cough, as other children and counselors may catch these infections. 

• If in doubt, please err on the side of caution and keep your child home.
  
  
• Temperatures 100.4°F and higher are considered fever.
  
  
• A child must be fever-free for at least 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medication and be well enough to participate in activities before returning to the JCC unless otherwise specified. 
• COVID tests are no longer required when symptoms of COVID are present; However, those who test positive must follow the recommended 5-day isolation period and may return on day 6 if they are fever-free for at least 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medication.
